Cluster nanoarchitecture and structural diversity of PIEZO1 at rest and during activation in intact cells | Science Advances

would like to say: once more the UKE scientists demonstrate that MINFLUX microscopy can push up the research at international prominent level.
This is not a proof of principle paper but a high impact scientific work. I share this with you because at UKE we take pride to be in between the firsts that have understood the potential of MINFLUX microscopy. The important point is to approach novel light microscopy techniques without positive or negative prejudices but with open mind and curiosity. If you are open minded and curious please try, test and discover the light microscopy approach that can boost your research!!!!

Dear users,
I confirm you that the facility movement will start officially 17.11.2025.
Additional to the previous given information starting from 24.11 STED and MINFLUX microscopes will be not available due to their movement.
I cannot predict when these systems will be available again in CF2 but I will let you know asap as I know.
There are some new important points
I need to grant you access to all the new facility rooms (and old one that keeps) naturally after have you been introduced again about the GMO/ laser general instructions.
To do this no matter if you are registered since few days or 15 years you need to re-register
Re-register is easy and it will be possible till 01.12.2025
To re-register use this link
UMIF Re-registration Form 2025
The account of users that are not re-registered will be deactivated.
Re-activation of accounts deactivated after 01.12.2025 will occurs once every 3 weeks (because this is a long process that can not prevent UMIF to provide other services).
In order to run as smooth as possible the UMIF movement we count on your understanding and collaboration.
Additionally to the users that have used the Zeiss MP for acquiring data for their Thesis Bachelor PhD or any other thesis could you help me during this week to fill up this table?

Dear all,
After a kind of long pause UMIF re-start again to contribute in the development of bio-imaging proof of principle experiments.
A special thanks to all the co-authors for their valuable help and contribution.
I need to add some more words: this work would not exist without the key role Dr. Carsten had in designing the experiments and writing the manuscript and Prof. Aepfelbacher in pushing and motivating us to go further.
Please get a look at the paper:

and get inspired!!!
We are looking forward to support you in discover your biological nanostructures on the molecular level!!!
