Shut-down of the system at the end of the session:

9 am – 5 pm (working days): Shut down the system when there is no user within the next 60min
After 5 pm (working days) and weekend/public holiday: shut down the system if the next user did not contact you or shows up at the microscope before you are done.

Standard settings (configuration at the end of imaging section):

Turn the 63x oil objective in position
Set the excitation light of the UV lamp to 100% (INT value at the microscope body)
